The Bees Algorithm Tuned Sliding Mode Control for Load Frequency Control in Two-Area Power System

چکیده

This paper proposes a design of Sliding Mode Control (SMC) for Load Frequency (LFC) in two-area electrical power system. The mathematical model the SMC is derived based on parameters investigated In order to achieve optimal use proposed controller, an optimisation tool called Bees Algorithm (BA) suggested this work tune SMC. dynamic performance system with employed LFC studied by applying load disturbance 0.2 pu area one. To validate supremacy results are compared those recently published works Fuzzy Logic (FLC) tuned Teaching–Learning-Based Optimisation (TLBO) algorithm and traditional PID optimised Lozi map-based Chaotic (LCOA). Furthermore, robustness SMC-based BA examined against parametric uncertainties simultaneous changes certain testbed 40% their nominal values. Simulation prove superiority as
